Last night I tore apart the project I was working on and started over again completely. I think it is much better since I started it over but I am still concerned about it. I got quite a bit done last night but I had to quit because my arm was hurting. I am thinking I will change the pattern a bit to make it better all around.

I also found out for sure last night that my youngest is planning on moving to Washington state next year. I am not really looking forward to her leaving again, but I know I have to cut the cord. I it just that I have missed her so the last couple of years. I guess I can't hold on forever.

Well I gave up smoking again 6 days ago since I hated to spend the money on cigarettes, and I hated the rain and the cold outside too. I have decided also to reopen my etsy shop. I did that yesterday. I am glad that my smoking only occurred outdoors and did not ruin my house or the things I keep here. I quit cold turkey, which is really hard and making you a terribly cranky person to live with. I have found it is easier every day to keep myself busy and not thinking about it too much. I step at a time I guess.

I had to get rid of all the guinea pigs I had, because it turned out I was terribly allergic to them. I had gone into anafalacktic(sp?) shock and I really don't need to die trying to make a buck, so I gave that all up.

i decided that I am closing my artfire shop very soon. i just don't sell anything i make. so no point in keeping it open and worrying all the time.

i got a parakeet recently, and i have been too busy to post about him. but i got him a great seed catcher from a fantastic woman who also has an etsy shop, but i did not know that until after i bought it on ebay. having a custom made cage cover made also.
anyway his name is Petey. I named him after my deceased grandma's parakeet. He doesn't look like her bird, but he is just as sweet.

i feel exhausted today. i had to take another sleeping pill last night and something for my restless leg to get to sleep. of course i slept a ton yesterday off and on all day long. today i have to remain awake for the carrier pick up i requested for my package that is shipping out. have two projects i am working on to keep me busy today. i have to get more done on the cashmere neck scarf i am knitting and i am crocheting a granny afghan out of the remaining dazzleaire yarn i have. I think i am also going to have to pull out my store totes and place the price/info tags on all my completed items. that will take a while now.

i actually had a sale today at my etsy shop. the Christmas towel and potholder set sold for $15. this is my second sale this year.

maybe just maybe I have slept enough to get some work done this evening. i bought a new banner for my etsy shop today also. i also sold my old cell phone on ebay finally

sold a scarf

in my shop but it was a pif sale so i lost money on it. hopefully though it will help with my promoting. shipping it out today.

weekend

i have spent the weekend at pat's. going back home tonight. i am so not looking forward to that. I have been doing a little bit of crocheting this weekend though. currently working on a baby afghan for my etsy shop. I will be working on another one I think after that too. I have a project at home I started on for the shop too.

pat is changing the oil in his truck so not much going on right now. harley our kitten is laying here on the table with me while i am typing on the computer.
